I’m a postdoc with the MMB-BioIT group - I’m currently developing a culture-free protocol for using Nanopore sequencing to enrich and detect antibiotic resistance genes and plasmids from clinical samples. I also dabble in deep-learning methods and am working towards a language-model-like methodology for reconstructing short-read genomic assemblies.
