I’m a PhD candidate at the University Medical Center of Utrecht, currently working for the Medical Microbiology Department.
I’m interested in understanding how antibiotic resistance develops and spreads across bacteria. I apply and develop bioinformatic tools to study multi-drug resistant E. coli, focusing on the study of plasmids and other mobile-genetic elements.
