I’m a PhD Candidate in the Medical Microbiology department, interested in the way (antibiotic resistance) genes spread throughout the environment. I develop research software to track these genes on mobile DNA, like plasmids and tranposons, in environental (metagenomics-)samples. Currently, I am developping a workflow tool to identify antibiotic resistance genes and several types of mobile DNA anticipiating to compare these mobile resistome data between samples.
